McDonald Carano is seeking full-time experienced Associates to join the Commercial Litigation Practice in our Reno or Las Vegas offices. The practice is ranked Tier 1 in the “Best Law Firms” report published by U.S. News–Best Lawyers and Band 1 in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business. The practice handles the full spectrum of complex commercial disputes and class action claims, including breach of contract, commercial torts, antitrust, unfair competition and trade practices, litigation surrounding commercial transactions and contract interpretation, and corporate, shareholder and partnership disputes and dissolutions. Our litigation group is highly experienced in state and federal court, at the appellate and Supreme Court levels, as well as before state and federal administrative agencies. Bankruptcy Associate(s)McDonald Carano is seeking full-time experienced Associates to join the Bankruptcy, Insolvency & Financial Restructuring Practice in our Reno or Las Vegas office. The practice is ranked Tier 1 in the “Best Law Firms” report published by U.S. News–Best Lawyers and attorneys in the group have received Lawyer of the Year recognition in The Best Lawyers in America. Our attorneys have extensive experience in bankruptcy and related practice areas, with several having served as law clerks and externs for judges in the Bankruptcy Court for the District of Nevada. We represent troubled companies, boards of directors, management, owners, debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, creditors’ committees, equity holders, lenders, investors, and trustees involved in Chapter 7 liquidation and Chapter 11 liquidation/reorganization bankruptcies. We also advise on out-of-court workouts and corporate debt restructurings, purchasing and selling assets from insolvent entities, and litigating the full range of contested and adversary matters including fraudulent conveyances and other preferences, foreclosure proceedings, stay and cash collateral proceedings, default debtors, breach of fiduciary duty claims, turnover actions, contested auctions and sale hearings, and post-emergence litigation.
